Marico Marine are an independent maritime consultancy and technology company providing solutions for ports, harbours, and offshore energy sectors world-wide. Following a period of sustained growth, we are recruiting for the following vacancies across our business:

 

Technical Support Engineer

Marico Marine are looking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer who will be based in our Chepstow office, travel throughout the UK and overseas, or engaged in remote support.  You will need to have the right to live and work in the UK and have an excellent command of English, both written and technical.  

The successful candidate will likely be presently serving at sea or in a marine ETO role (technical and electronics installation and support), or possibly in a military role. You must be happy to travel for deployment, with a track record of installing, commissioning and problem-solving of marine electronic sensors and the networks on which they reside.

Provided you can demonstrate both expertise and a track record, the position is open to candidates who may be seeking their first position ashore after seagoing service. You will likely have a record of UK based training, with current certificates available, e.g. C&G.

The role will include specification and design of systems for a VTS solution, involving with the latest of radars, VHF systems and VTS software packages.

You will liaise directly with port clients in VTS centres or senior management, so your professional demeanour and willingness to go that extra mile will be sought after attributes. You will report to our senior VTS installation engineer.

Excellent renumeration and 10% pension contributions once permanency is confirmed.

 

Principal Consultant (Maritime) 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Consultant (Maritime) to join our team of high achieving maritime specialists and to play a key role in supporting project work across our business based in Bramshaw near Southampton.

Following a successful induction period, the expectation is that this post will be office-based, with up to two days a week working from home. Flexibility will be required here to support operational demands. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) with a starting salary commensurate with skills and experience.

Senior Consultant (Marine)

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team of experts located at our head-office in the New Forest, near Southampton.

The role will have a particular focus on supporting Marico Marine’s core business which is built around marine consultancy, risk assessment and associated services. The role will also support Marico Marine’s reach across industry as we continue our drive into uncrewed vessel operations, data analytics and emerging technologies.

Graduate GIS Analyst / Consultant (Marine) 

This is an exciting opportunity for a new graduate or early career marine consultant to join our team of high achieving maritime specialists and to play a key role in supporting project work across our business. Experience of using GIS in a marine setting is essential. This is a hybrid role based at our Bramshaw office, near Southampton.
