Voyage Route Optimisation Service

Marico Marine offers the service of voyage route optimisation to charterers, ship operators and legal firms by comparing optional shipping routes between specified ports. All routes have been verified by Master Mariners as being appropriate for both safety of navigation and environmental protection. 

The shortest route options between ports are used to assess the “New Worldwide Tanker Nominal Freight Scale” issued annually by the Worldscale Association.

Emissions Analysis

Using the IMO's bottom-up greenhouse gas emission methodology, Marico Marine's approach determines quantities of significant emission species from commercial shipping, as well as allowing total emissions across a selected area to be quantified.
